The ad's punchline would be more convincing were it not for this obvious blooper - the contemporary (colour) shot of the truck at the end segues into a black and white shot from WW2.
The truck is a US GMC and is (probably) taking survivors AWAY fom the Holocaust.
Only a wartruck nerd will spot that (I'm one) but it's still an appalling fcukup...
Heh, nice observation. However, I think they are comparing World War 2 with modern times. They are trying to scare us.
Why assume Holocaust is only WWII? Of course there was the German Holocaust, but there was also the Russian Holocaust, Indian Holocaust, and several Asian Holocausts.
The home invasion and kidnapping seemed more like the KGB style arrests.
