Do You Value Little Things?

What do you value most in your life? How much do you like your possessions? Do you value love, nature or your children more than your material possessions? What provides joy in your life? Are you sure that the answer you are thinking of right now, is the right answer for you? Look around you, what do you have in your home; how is your relationship with your spouse, parents, relatives or your children? How much time do you spend enjoying nature or loving nature? Do you ignore nature? Do you think it's not beautiful? Is it because you do not have time to observe it? Why do you not have time? Most of these questions can be answered by questioning yourself. Are you willing to question what is valuable in your life, or continue living in blindness.

people tend to ignore anything that they surely own, and start appreciate it we it was lost

As I get older I care about things less and quality time with people or nature more. I love to travel and take time out from the whirl.

damn, you got some hard questions here. i love my home, my clothes, my car, i love knowing i have money to buy the things i want. but when i'm down and sad, none of those things can cheer me up. only 'my' people can, my frolicking pups, the blue skies outside or the soft green lawn. and shouldn't those be the things to value? i believe so...

I do value love, nature and my children above everything else and my health of course. I learned that from my mum in childhood. Whenever I would grizzle about something she, unsympathetically, would say what's wrong with you? You've got your health. A good lesson.

I value other people like I value myself.

It's the gift of life itself that I value most.

Great questions...I love family, teaching, observing and listening, dreaming, the furry creatures, writing and guitar.

Droplets in a moring leaf.... Trees and shrubs swaying during eventide.. puppies.. kittens.. playing, without any worries.. a smile on a human face..... and many more.. I've valued them all...

Good question pal...

Some very valid questions and excellent reminders to be aware of yourself, the present moment, and your view of life.

I've been a little scarce online recently, but it's good to see you are still dropping wisdom.

Sometimes the little things in life, such as, for example, a kindly blog comment, gives me a sense of accomplishment and peace.;)

Accomplishment to me means more than a great abundance of material possessions.

Leon, I hope you can check out my 'evil' graphs on thekingin68.

Happy Weekend,

Russ:)

Nothing in the external world, even nature, can be held onto for lasting happiness.

In one way you can not double the size of your swimming pool to be doubly happy.

In another way you can not love some tree or field as they change, the weather changes, we change.

Inner happiness is the only true and dependable happiness; the only thing that will always be there, no matter where you go, is you, your mind.

I love nature, but I love the inner nature more :)

Spring here has been the most beautiful Spring I can remember.
I LOVE April. You see these fresh tender shoots appear from the buds of trees, shrubs, etc, and when I get close and look I feel ecstatic as i look close at this amazingness. It is just amazing. No words can define the magic of it all....no words. So I'll shut up lol
