“Gentle waves of the river
Let me flow with you
Therefore, I know what it is like to be free!
Nothing on my mind, but
Freedom in my eyes
And in my heart and in nature too
Tears rolling down my cheek
Because life force is calling me!!!
I want to be free
“So, let me sing a song
With you birds today
Long forgotten
Since the Ancient Times.”
“Let my heart speak to you
So my soul could be released
From the dark caves of time
It’s the only way I know
How to live!”
Let me flow with you
Therefore, I know what it is like to be free!
Nothing on my mind, but
Freedom in my eyes
And in my heart and in nature too
Tears rolling down my cheek
Because life force is calling me!!!
I want to be free
“So, let me sing a song
With you birds today
Long forgotten
Since the Ancient Times.”
“Let my heart speak to you
So my soul could be released
From the dark caves of time
It’s the only way I know
How to live!”
As I sang the song of freedom. The birds followed for chorus:
“Lovely day
Lovely night
Let his heart be free tonight
Of darkness in his mind
And with that he can
Write more so his writing touches all.”
Lovely night
Let his heart be free tonight
Of darkness in his mind
And with that he can
Write more so his writing touches all.”
All that singing power came to a sweet haul. And the sun came out to join the fun. The sun beamed upon my face. I felt blessed to sit in silence, while singing my freedom tune.

True freedom comes from knowing the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Alpha and the Omega.
I'm so glad He shows us beauty and brings us peace through His beautiful creation. I too like to sit by the lazy river and drift into a day dream state of tranquility. The birds do sing, but so also does my Heavenly Father to me as well! Thanks for the nice poem!
Sitting by the river sounds good. I wish I could do my PhD revisions near a river, lake or ocean.
Russ:)
Shannon Jacobyansky - Thank you!:) You're Welcome!:)
thekingpin68 - I am with you!:) And maybe you could.
that's the kind of freedom only found in nature and in the heart.
I have always believed water to be very healing.I am lucky enough to live by the Sea and she lifts my spirits each time I walk by her water edge, breathing in her perfume.
And your words.......very lovely, to me.
Shadow - Yea! There was this book, Water Secrets or something. Or Hidden Water Secrets, I need to read it:) Thanks for reminding me.
SarahA - That is quite lovely, I bet!:) And thank you!:)
I live nowhere near the water. I know I'm worse off for that. When I'm in nature I feel more creative. The city/towns can be stifling. When reading your words I felt like I was there for a moment.
Rebekah Cadman - Why thank you so much. I am so glad to hear that!:) I am glad it's touching your soul, hopefully it continues and becomes a more powerful experience.
