First attempt at Meditation Day 3. 12.5.09
Sitting there and this feeling of fire burned through my body
It continued to get fierce
And would gain speed then slow down
I would continue to feel a deep trance
And it felt like my eyes were flapping while my eyes were closed
I felt like a vibration of my body and mind come together
It felt really powerful like me being contacted by someone
Trying to communicate with me in telepathy
Distraction from outside broke my focus
I started to focus on my breathing and then
I started focusing on emptiness
And before I knew it
I was feeling all that I described up above
I also felt like I was being put into a cannon
Like squeezed in and then out of my body
Second attempt at Meditation Day 3. 12.5.09
Tried to mediate again but couldn't
Tried living room but that did not work out either
Tried bathroom that kind of worked
For a few seconds in the back of my
Skull something like a feeling of it being pushed forward
Then I felt like turbulence in my body sped up?
Started to get stronger
Then it would drop
The turbulence of vibration in my body
Because different noises

I love this site... give it a look. ;-)
Ok, maybe you should see the councilor ;P
Your mind is incredibly active, this is something other than meditation.
Nah, I'm okay. Thank you!
Hi Leon,
It was nice to have you visit and comment on my blog, thanks for that.
Can I ask what meditation method you are following/using? There are many out there and some are not as effective as others . . as you may well be aware.
Some are purely relaxation techniques, nothing wrong with that, but they often get called meditation when they are purely opening gambits, so to speak.
There are other techniques and methods that simply 'excite' the imagination and the emotions; neither are meditation.
Some visualization techniques pass themselves off as meditation but they are not . . they are visualizations.
I speak from a lifetime of experience when I say that the best form of meditation is simply 'you' being the observer of your thoughts, emotions and actions; but you have to know what you are doing and why you are doing it.
There are many experiences one may have when meditating . . you have described a few I know very well indeed. If you persist with meditation you will eventually pass through this level of mental activity and into a quieter place.
Contact me if you want to chat about any of this; I would recommend a particular book also. It is always best to know what is likely to happen before undertaking such activities. Go to one of my bog posts here for an article I wrote on the subject: http://doug-mcmillan.blogspot.com/2009/01/on-subject-of-meditation.html
All the best for now,
Doug '1yogi2many' :)
Doug McMillan - Wow! That was a handful:) Thank you so much for coming and commenting. I do not have a particular way that I meditate, I take from many different forms. I would love to speak to you more about meditation and would love to hear the recommendation of the book. I would love to speak to you in general!:) How may we speak? Thank you!:0
